Perform’s permanent straightening service is the perfect solution for frizzy, unruly or curly hair to achieve a long-lasting texture change. The service lasts up to 6 months and grows out softly. For a smooth and shiny result with a soft hair feel.

The Perform is available in three directions: N for normal to resistant hair, C for colored hair and S for sensitive hair with a maximum of 50% strands. Before the straightening service, check the condition of your hair and select the appropriate direction. It is recommended to test a strand before treatment. Use with Perform Straightening Neutralizer.

APPLICATION – Perform/Smoothing Cream variants: N for natural to unruly hair, C for colored hair, S for sensitive hair, maximum 50% strands.

• PREPARATION: It is recommended to test a strand before use.
• STEP 1: SMOOTHING CREAM. Use non-metallic tools. Wear gloves. Apply the product to dry hair using a brush and bowl. Starting at the nape of the neck, apply strand by strand, leaving about 0.5 cm between each strand and the scalp. Comb through once and ensure even distribution in the hair. Ensure that the hair remains smooth during the application time. Do not apply heat and do not cover the hair.
• EFFECTIVE TIME. Fine hair, normal hair, strong hair: N 15 20 25 min; C 5 10 15 min; S 5 10 15 min. Please note that the application time is short for an even treatment all over the head. Quick application minimizes this effect. Check the result on a test strand after the shortest recommended application time. Wrap a strand around the tip of a comb and check whether it holds. Once the desired result has been achieved, comb the hair one last time before rinsing. Emulsify with a little water, rinse thoroughly and squeeze out the excess moisture with a towel.
• STEP 2: HOT APPLICATION. Blow-dry the hair under tension with a brush. When the hair is completely dry, use a ceramic straightener to straighten strands up to 1 cm wide until the desired straightening result is achieved. It is also possible to carry out the treatment without hot application, e.g. if the hair is very short or only a light straightening effect is desired. In this case, proceed directly to the ”Fixing” step after rinsing out the smoothing cream.
• STEP 3: SETTING. Perform Straightening Neutralizer is ready to use, do not dilute with water. Wear gloves. Use a similar amount or slightly more fixative than the previously used straightening cream. Apply the fixative with a bowl and brush or with an applicator bottle strand by strand and ensure even distribution in the hair. Comb the hair smooth and leave the fixation in for 10 minutes. Important: The hair must remain straight during the setting process. Rinse out the fixation thoroughly. Apply perm after-treatment or a conditioner, leave on for 3 to 5 minutes and rinse thoroughly. Style the hair as usual.
• IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CUSTOMERS: Do not wash hair for the next 48 hours. During this period, do not tie hair up, use hairpins or clips and do not tie hair in a ponytail.
• APPLICATION: For regrowing hair (at least 4 cm), only treat the root area. Wella Professionals Nutri-Enrich Mask can be used to protect sensitive areas during treatment.
• IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Do not use the product on hair that has been treated with hair colorants containing metallic salts or with alkali relaxers containing sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, lithium hydroxide or guanidine carbonate. If repeated smoothing treatment is required, there should be at least one week break between treatments.
