Chemi-Pharm Chemihyd Des 1000ml. Chemihyd Des is readymade solution for high level disinfection and chemical sterilization mainly in medical centres. Suitable for all water-tolerant instruments. Product is material friendly. Chemihyd Des has a broad bacterial (incl. Mycobacterium terrae), sporicidal, virucidal (incl. HBV, HIV) and fungal effect. Do not contain phosphates.
USAGE:
Used for high level disinfection and/or chemical sterilization of medical instruments (incl. thermolabile) as endoscopes, optical instruments and those facilities, bronchoscopes, biopsy tongs, intubation tubes, laryngoscopes, aspiration tubes, kidney bowls, stomatological instruments etc.
Chemihyd Des is readymade solution, do not dilute. Chemihyd Des is used when hot sterilization is not possible. Also suitable for disinfection before autoclaving.
Pre-cleansed instruments are disassembled, if needed, and placed into the solution in a lidded container. Make sure that all surfaces are covered with the Chemihyd Des solution. Time of effect is 20 minutes for high level disinfection. For chemical sterilization time of effect is 3 hours. After the time of effect, rinse with sterile or running water. Solution’s time of use is 30 days, if used on pre-disinfected instruments. Is suitable for use in endoscope washing machines, in that case is recommended to use defoamer also.
Chemihyd Des remains in closed canister 12 months. A substance is maintained in tightly closed container at temperature not below +5º C.
Not suitable for use with amines, avoid working with amines containing products before and after disinfection with Chemihyd Des.
The product meets the requirements of EN 1040, EN 1275 and EN 14476.
PRECAUTIONS:
When inhaled or in contact with the skin, can cause hypersensitivity (allergies).
Wear rubber gloves and eye or face protection when working with the substance.
In case of skin contact, wash with soap and water.
In case of eye contact rinse with plenty of running water, consult a doctor.
In case of swallowing, drink plenty of water and consult a doctor.
